Meet Pastor Sean Duckett
My name is Sean Duckett and my lovely wife Arsene and our son David were called to minister here in Summerville, South Carolina in November 2009. We also have a daughter and two more sons. Summerville is my family and my third Pastorate. We pioneered in Charlotte, North Carolina in 1996, and later pioneered in Kinston, NC prior to assuming our present pastorate. We visited Charleston several times on outreach teams from Jacksonville, North Carolina, our mother church, where my family and I lived for almost 17 years. The thought of actually pastoring the church in Charleston only crossed my mind once.
Upon arriving here in an established church of over 20 years, the Christian Fellowship Church had just recently relocated from Ladson to Summerville. The church was challenged to take an old retail store and transform it into a sanctuary. Having been in the construction profession for over 20 years myself, it was a blessing using the skills God gave me to transform an empty building needing lots of work into a place of worship.
Today, we believe we are right where God wants us to be and no other place will do. We’ve been around long enough to know that the greenest grass grows where GOD plants it and he planted us here!
